• Linux desktop terminals no longer trip the automation license gate: systemd user sessions inherit INVOCATION_ID / JOURNAL_STREAM / SYSTEMD_EXEC_PID into every terminal (Ghostty, Cursor, etc.), so interactive runs were falsely treated as unattended. Detection now requires CI, a direct systemd ExecStart (SYSTEMD_EXEC_PID matching this process), or a real .service cgroup — not desktop .scope units
