1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your email address and authentication credentials when you sign in. We also collect usage data related to how you interact with our CLI tools and services.

On this website we collect analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages viewed, referring URL, country, device type, browser, and approximate location, to understand traffic and improve the site. With your consent, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to recognize returning visitors and attribute conversions across sessions. Without consent, Google Analytics operates in cookieless mode and collects only aggregated, anonymized data.

If you arrive through an affiliate link, we may record referral attribution so we can credit the referring partner. Before you accept cookies, Affonso only detects affiliate parameters in the URL and does not set tracking cookies or collect personal data such as your IP address. After consent, Affonso may store a referral identifier and related device information for up to 30 days to attribute sign-ups and purchases.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send technical notices, and respond to your support requests.

3. Data Storage and Sub-processors

We use Supabase for authentication and user data storage, Google Analytics for website analytics, Affonso for affiliate and referral attribution, and Tawk.to for the optional live support chat. Google Analytics processes data on Google servers and may share aggregated data with other Google services when consent is granted. Affonso processes referral data on EU-based servers when you accept cookies; before consent it only detects affiliate link parameters without collecting personal data. If you choose to start a chat, Tawk.to processes the message content you send, your IP address, approximate location, and basic device information on US-based servers. Your data is stored securely and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. CLI Tools & Local Data

Our CLI tools (@devintern/code and @devintern/pm) operate primarily on your local machine. We do not have access to your local codebase, environment variables, or any data processed locally by these tools.

5. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies and storage. We use cookies and browser storage to maintain your authentication session, remember UI preferences, and record your analytics consent choice. These are required for the site to function and are not subject to opt-in.

Analytics cookies. When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to recognize returning visitors and attribute conversions across sessions. If you reject, Google Analytics continues to operate in cookieless mode, collecting only anonymized, aggregated data without setting persistent cookies for analytics purposes.

Affiliate tracking cookies. When you accept cookies and visit through an affiliate link, Affonso sets an affonso_referral cookie (up to 30 days) to attribute sign-ups and purchases to the referring partner. Before consent, Affonso runs in privacy-first mode: it may add an affonso_id parameter to the URL for session continuity but does not set this cookie or collect personal data. If you reject cookies, affiliate attribution cookies are not set.

Live chat cookies. The Tawk.to chat widget sets cookies to maintain your session and recognize you across pages. We do not load the widget until you have accepted cookies (or are visiting from a region where the banner is not shown). If you reject, the chat widget will not appear and Tawk.to sets no cookies.

Where we ask. Visitors from the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Brazil see a consent banner on first visit. Visitors from other regions are not shown the banner; cookie-based analytics is enabled by default in line with applicable local law.

Withdrawing or changing consent. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser's privacy settings — the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also disable all cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.
