Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevIntern's website, CLI tools, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

DevIntern provides AI-powered developer tools, including @devintern/code (automated Jira task implementation) and @devintern/pm (engineering spec generation). Services are delivered via downloadable CLI tools and this website for license management and account access.

3. Licenses

All DevIntern software is licensed under the DevIntern Commercial License Agreement, not sold. Upon payment of the applicable fee, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software.

Individual License: Permits a single natural person to install and use the Software on any number of machines they personally control, solely for their own internal business or personal purposes.

Team Seat: An Individual License bundled for organizations. Each Team Seat corresponds to one natural person. Team Seats are non-transferable between individuals except upon explicit written request.

Server License: Permits deployment on designated server infrastructure for unattended automation, webhook handling, CI/CD integration, and other non-interactive workloads. Scoped by the number of repositories and environments purchased.

4. Account and Authentication

You may need to create an account to purchase licenses or access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We use Supabase for authentication and account management.

5. Payments

All prices are one-time purchases in USD unless otherwise stated. After 12 months, usage remains perpetual and updates continue for licensed users. @devintern/pm and @devintern/code can be purchased independently or together. Server automation add-ons are available as standalone purchases. Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final.

6. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, sell, or otherwise transfer the Software to any third party.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software.
  • Use the Software to provide a service bureau, time-sharing, or similar service to third parties.
  • Circumvent or disable any license key, activation, or technical protection measures.
  • Use an Individual License for server-side automation or multi-user shared infrastructure without a Server License.
  • Exceed the repository or environment limits of a purchased Server License.

7. Intellectual Property

The Software and all related materials are the exclusive property of Daniil Pokrovsky, operating as devintern.com. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights, are retained by the Licensor. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to trademarks, service marks, or logos.

Enterprise customers may be granted access to source code under a separate Source Code License Agreement (SCLA), which remains subject to strict confidentiality obligations.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SERVICES AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL DEVINTERN OR DANIIL POKROVSKY BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICES OR SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Termination

Licenses are perpetual for the version purchased. We may terminate your access to the Services immediately if you fail to comply with these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Disputes

Payment and billing disputes are handled in accordance with the terms of our payment processor, Polar. For all other disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue resolution through the competent courts at the Licensor's place of business.
